The Bait Of Satan

Are you "OFFENDED?  Have you ever been offended by someone? a family member? a friend? a pastor? another Christian? or something or someone?  If you haven't noticed, we are even being confronted culturally with an onslaught of OFFENSES.

We are starting a new biblically based LIFE APPLICATION study for men called "The Bait of Satan" by John Bevere, author and pastor.  This teaching will not only help us become "aware" of offenses, but will show us how our responses ARE OFTEN SINFUL!

On Mondays, 630pm-800pm, beginning January 27th, at the Family Impact Wellness Center, we will watch and discuss a video series featuring John Bevere's teaching as he equips Christians with an awareness of how our enemy uses hidden snares to trap us into offenses that cause many sinful responses.  And often, as he'll show us, we aren't even aware we've fallen for that bait!

The link below highlights the purpose for Bevere's study, and we hope you'll consider joining us so we can sharpen one another to become better MEN OF IMPACT, as Disciples of Jesus, fighting off the offenses that are intended to interfere with our relationship with our Lord.

Foundations Chronological Bible Course for Women 

Tuesday 6:30pm - 8:00pm

This women's only study that covers the events of God’s Word in the order in which they happened in history. Studying in this way helps to better understand the context and see what God reveals to us about Himself through the pages of His Word.  Click HERE  for more information.

How To Make Disciples

Beginning January 9th

Before ascending into heaven, Jesus told those he had discipled to make disciples of others.  God’s plan for building His Kingdom is disciples who make disciples, who make disciples.  And yet so few of us have ever been personally discipled by someone further along in their faith journey. Even fewer have ever discipled another Christian. Would you like to discover how to personally help another person grow into a disciple of Jesus?  If so, this group is for you.  

Join Bob & Kristel Dobson at the Impact Center on Thursday, January 9th, at 7:00pm for the first of six bi-weekly sessions and discover both how simple and how rewarding it can be to disciple another person.  This group is open to adult men and women and will meet on 1/9, 1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/6 and 3/20.
