About Us

Family Impact Centers, a Christian non-profit organization that opened its doors in March of 2002, works hand in hand with local communities and area churches to offer hope and to help bring restoration to individuals and families in need. It is entirely operated by volunteer staff and is financially supported by private contributions.

In September of 2010, Family Impact Centers had finished a very successful Capital Campaign and was able to move from a small rented building on South Fowlerville Road to its newly purchased and renovated location at 735 N. Grand Avenue (across from Fowlerville High School). Prime focus of this building was – and will continue to be – the client-choice pantry and clothing programs as people are helped with their immediate needs.

In the fall of 2013, we began remodeling the former Fowlerville Christian School building at 9430 W. Grand River Avenue. Known as the Family Impact Wellness Center, it continues to house a variety of services and programs that focus on long-term restoration, such as counseling, support groups, parenting classes, health-related seminars, women’s Bible studies and tutoring for children to name a few. As of 2019, we began the process of purchasing the buildings and property where the Wellness Center is located and will continue to expand our offerings.

Family Impact Centers reached its 20th anniversary on March 5, 2022. Up to that date, a total of 2,919 unduplicated families had been enrolled just in the food program alone. Many more have participated in one or more of the above mentioned educational and restorative-type programs.
